Most of us now use mobile devices to connect to the web. Nightjar’s mobile content is rich, imaginative and has the user at heart. Here’s a selection of recent projects.

A two-hour, GPS-triggered tour of Malta and Gozo, designed to be used on fifteen different bus routes around the islands. The tour was delivered in English, French, German, Spanish, Italian and Maltese, and thanks to special receivers mounted in the seats, passengers just select their language, sit back and enjoy the ride. The tour covers everything from the Grand Harbour to sleepy seaside towns, from the world-famous prehistoric site of Ggantija to a World War II shelter, and from limestone quarries to typical Maltese cuisine.

Since 2007, Miranda has presented the monthly National Gallery podcast: fifteen minutes of news and interviews on exhibitions, events and old favourites from the permanent collection. From Caravaggio to Yinka Shonibare and from Grayson Perry to the Flemish primitives, episodes are available as audio, or audio enhanced with images, from the National Gallery website.
